How can I setup my Google Workspace email on my phone?

To sync your e-mail – and, optionally, calendar and contacts – with your Google Workspace account (previously "G Suite" and "Google Apps for Business" and "Google Apps for My Domain"), following these steps:
Android
- Navigate to your device's Settings app
- Under "Applications," find the "@" icon for Email and select it
- Select "Other" from the choices or use the Gmail app
- If Gmail ...
- Enter your Google Workspace username and password; make sure you use your entire e-mail address, like username@domain.com
- If "Other" ... note that this doesn't work as consistently
- You can enable or disable e-mail to access your contacts: that's optional
- You may have a screen overlay permission screen: also optional
- Next to "Configure Now," enter your Google Workspace username and password; make sure you use your entire e-mail address, like username@domain.com
- Select IMAP
- Change port to 465 to enable SSL
- When complete, you should see "account sign-in successful."
- Finally, choose which services you want to sync to your device.
- To send/receive e-mail, navigate to "Applications" and, alongside calendar, camera, and so on, there's a Gmail icon

iPhone with iOS 14 or greater
- Select "Settings"
- Select "Mail"
- Select "Accounts"
- Select "Add Account"
- Select "Google"
- Select "Continue" on the privacy prompt
- Sign in with your Google Workspace account email address and password
